Daniamant is delighted to announce the launch of a new range of intrinsically safe lifejacket lights. Where lifejackets lights are required, either by SOLAS or Health & Safety, plus the environment is hazardous (or potentially explosive) this is the ideal product. Together with its EU ATEX and IECEx approvals, this makes this range of lifejacket lights the only choice for hazardous installations such as offshore oil rigs, gas and oil tankers.
Never before has there been a SOLAS/MED (approval pending) lifejacket light that has these additional approvals to ensure the highest levels of safety in offshore installations.
Building on the success of our innovative range of lifebuoy lights it was clear that there was a requirement for a similar product to increase safety of offshore workers. Using a familiar design and well established high quality product (L6/L6A) we used advances in LED technology and integrated circuits to design the only intrinsic safety and increased safety (Category 1) lifejacket lights in the world.

Daniamant have a history of excellence in producing rugged, intrinsically safe lights (L40, L161, L163), and have successfully certified a number of products over the past five years, primarily for use in the offshore marine environment.
This exciting new series of lights are now EU ATEX and IECEx approved. SOLAS/MED approval by Lloyds Register will be carried out during the next two months and then we will begin manufacture.
